Ed McLain

Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Ed has had a passion for technology since a very young age and started down what would be his professional track while still in high school. With both parents being physicians, he was also actively involved in helping them with the systems and software running their practices. Over the years Ed has built, launched, operated, and scaled multiple large scale internet software products, designed, built, and operated data centers, and run software and operational teams for various companies. When asked in 2004 if he could help support his parents conference that was started in 1983, he jumped at the idea and immediately began working on how to bring new and more creative technical abilities to the conference. Ed's development and operational background tied with his entrepreneurial mind set resulted in the formation of Digital Motion, the continual improvement of our services, and our drive toward exceptional execution.

Brooke Fleming

Chief Executive Officer

Brooke Fleming is a creative, strategic thinker who is energetic, focused and driven. After over fifteen years in Marketing Communications in the banking and service industries, Brooke turned entrepreneur, owning a retail storefront in Historic Downtown Birmingham. She has served as a business coach for numerous new entrepreneurs in the Birmingham area, as well as co-founded a community business roundtable for creative entrepreneurs to share best practices and learn business principles. Over the past two years, she has managed the Sales and Marketing efforts of Digital Motion during it’s pivot into virtual and hybrid events. Brooke’s passion is developing and orchestrating robust, efficient business solutions that deliver. She is continually striving to listen to clients and understand what they need most, in order to help them succeed with winning event services, building a foundation of ongoing partnership.

Matthew Schultz

President & Chief Operating Officer

Matt Schultz has spent his career rising swiftly through the ranks as a quick industry learner, being recognized for his excellence in client service and problem solving skills. Matt has made it a priority to make sure he understands each client’s individual needs and goes above and beyond to deliver on them. He is especially skilled at putting together detailed plans and implementing them, attending to every aspect of each project. As President of Digital Motion, it is Matt’s passion to help companies, whether large or small, benefit from the cutting edge event solutions that Digital Motion offers without being overcharged or overlooked.

Brandi McKean

Lead Meeting Planner

Brandi is a goal oriented and experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the meeting and events industry. Her experience includes planning, execution, and production of onsite, hybrid, and virtual meetings across multiple industries, including healthcare, CME, education, associations, and technology. With more than 16 years of experience, she is skilled in project planning, meeting milestones, speaker onboarding, registration and attendee management, and engaging professionally with key stakeholder executives. She understands that exhibitors are an important component to any event, virtual or onsite, and works to ensure exhibitors get the most from their investment. Brandi implements the event planning process that is necessary to produce a seamless event, whether broadcasting virtually, hybrid, or onsite. She works in close partnership with clients to ensure that every detail is accounted for and the client's vision will result in a successful event.
